Trend alert; PLAID

Style pantry going plaid+ plaid+ plaid

While many consider plaid to be a boyish print, the fashion-conscious woman can wear it and still look feminine doing so.

  1. 1
Consider the fit. Women's flannel shirts can either be loose or fitted.
    • Loose shirts are more rugged and casual.

    • Fitted shirts are more stylish and easier to dress up.
  2. 2
Make it casual. Match a loose, slightly oversized button-down plaid shirt with your favorite pair of jeans. Wear a clean yet casual shoe, like a flat or sneaker, and keep any jewelry or accessories to a minimum

  3. 3
Dress it up. Wear a fitted plaid tunic or dress over a pair of dark leggings. Wrap a scarf or belt around your waist and add a few gold accessories, such as necklaces, bracelets, or earrings. Finish it off with a pair of fashionable heeled boots.

  4. 4
Wear a "schoolgirl" skirt. Pick a plaid skirt with traditional colors, like red and black or navy and black. Pair it with a plain white button-down shirt. Wear a pair of black knee-high socks, and throw on some simple black flats.

  5. 5
Spice things up with plaid accessories. Look for a plaid handbag, scarf, or belt. Add the accessory to a simple plaid-free outfit that only uses solid prints like to a white t-shirt and jeans.
In all plaid is. A powerful print which could do very well in your wardrobe

    So do you agree?
